Jason R. Hanft DPM, FACAFS
CEO/ Founder Defender
Founder Dr. Jason R. Hanft has over 30 years of experience in lower extremity medicine and surgery, limb salvage, wound care and clinical research. Participating as an investigator in nearly 100 separate clinical trials and research studies, he has worked on every significant clinical trial in the wound care space over the past 20 years.
Dr. Hanft is an adjunct professor at multiple institutions. He is a frequent lecturer and has authored over 50 peer reviewed journal publications as well as multiple book chapters.
Dr. Hanft is also the director of research for the Doctors Research Network and practices at The Foot & Ankle Institute of South Florida in South Miami, Florida. He owns several US and international patents and trademarks, and is recognized as a key opinion leader in wound care.
Ed Quilty, a well accomplished senior business executive who has consistently led, built and transformed organizations, has been CEO of four publicly-listed companies. Ed currently is a Board Member and Advisor to several companies in the healthcare sector, including a role as member of the Board of Directors at Gentell, as well as responsibilities in corporate development.
Prior to that, Ed served as the Chairman and CEO of the Board of Derma Sciences Inc., a publicly held corporation with products for tissue regeneration and advanced wound care. Under Ed’s direction and leadership the Company grew from under $5 million in sales with less than 10 employees to become a leader in its industry with revenues fast approaching $100 million and over 250 employees.
During his career, Quilty has been CEO of four publicly traded healthcare companies. He has led and managed numerous M&A transactions and financings with a total value of over $2 billion. Mr. Quilty served as Chairman of the Board of Palatin Technologies, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company specializing in peptide drug design for diagnostic and therapeutic agents. He was President/CEO of MedChem Products, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of specialty medical products which was acquired by C. R. Bard. He served as President / CEO of Life Medical Sciences, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of specialty medical products including wound healing agents. Life Medical Sciences was purchased by MedChem Products, Inc. and Ed became CEO of the combined company.
His career started with Baxter/American Hospital Supply in 1974 and he held a number of sales, marketing and executive positions. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri State University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Ohio University.

With over 15 years of professional experience and business building, Jeremy has developed numerous eCommerce brands and Internet Marketing companies, serving clients throughout the world. His companies have a business presence in North America, Europe, and Asia. Jeremy prides himself in proactive marketing service to his clients while maintaining essential agency/client relationships.
